PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent antibacterial property and deodorant property and also excellent flame retardancy, and in particular, fibers for curtains and linen materials for flame and fire prevention used in facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes. To provide a flame-retardant antibacterial fiber product usable as a product and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Titanium oxide particles are dispersed in an aqueous solution, At least one of a silver ammonium complex and a copper ammonium complex is added to the solution, and a reducing agent is added to disperse and support at least one of silver and copper metal particles on the surface of the titanium oxide particles by reduction precipitation. A photocatalyst is dispersed in a solvent together with a flame-retardant binder to prepare a flame-retardant antibacterial coating solution. The antibacterial photocatalyst and the binder are used in an amount of 0.2% by weight based on the basis weight of the textile. A coating layer having flame-retardant antibacterial properties is formed on the surface of the textile by coating and drying on the surface of the textile so as to be adhered to the textile in the range of 10% by weight or less. |
