titleOfInvention | Method for producing water-soluble polymer |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a monomer mixture containing a water-soluble monomer having an acryloyl group and a water-soluble monomer having a methacryloyl group, and having a high molecular weight and containing almost no insoluble matter. Provided is a method for producing a water-soluble polymer having excellent solubility in water smoothly and easily with a simple operation. An aqueous solution of a monomer mixture containing a water-soluble monomer having an acryloyl group and a water-soluble monomer having a methacryloyl group is irradiated with light in the presence of an azo polymerization initiator and an inorganic phosphorus compound. A water-soluble polymer is produced by irradiating light under conditions of an intensity of 0.5 to 7 W / m 2 to polymerize. |
