(57) [Problem] To provide a thermoplastic resin having a narrow molecular weight distribution and reduced coloring during melt molding. SOLUTION: A raw material containing a vinyl monomer is RAFT. Radical polymerization in the presence of an agent, if desired, after the resulting polymer is subjected to a decolorizing treatment using an oxidizing agent or a nucleophile, the coloring due to heat caused by adding an antioxidant to such a polymer is reduced. Thermoplastic resin and a method for producing the same. |
