titleOfInvention Glass raw material
abstract [PROBLEMS] To enable polishing sludge containing cerium oxide abrasive to be used as a raw material for many glass products containing cerium oxide, and to reuse the sludge without adversely affecting the environment. Provide glass raw materials that can reduce waste disposal costs and energy costs. SOLUTION: The glass raw material of the present invention is a glass raw material containing an abrasive having a cerium oxide content of 95% by mass or more, and a glass fine powder produced by polishing using the abrasive. The content of chlorine in the material is 0.2% by mass or less.
