titleOfInvention | Polymerization method of vinyl monomer |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing a polymer from adhering to a gas phase portion of a polymerization vessel even in the polymerization of a vinyl monomer containing an acrylate ester. SOLUTION: In a polymerization method of a vinyl monomer containing 2% by mass or more of an acrylate ester using a polymerization vessel, a vinyl monomer containing at least one mercaptan having 3 to 5 carbon atoms in a gas phase portion in the polymerization vessel. Polymerization method: Mercaptan having 3 to 5 carbon atoms in the gas phase has a concentration of 10 to 1000 It is preferably within the range of ppm; a mercaptan having 6 or more carbon atoms can be further present in the gas phase. |
