titleOfInvention | Cathode panel for cold cathode field emission display and cold cathode field emission display |
abstract | (57) Abstract: Provided is a cathode panel for a cold-cathode field emission display device having a structure capable of reliably exerting an electron focusing effect on a field emission element despite having a simple structure. The cathode panel includes a support, a plurality of cathode electrodes, an insulating layer, a plurality of gate electrodes, and an electron emission area. The electron emission area includes a first opening. A portion 14A, a second opening, and an electron-emitting portion provided on the cathode electrode located at the bottom of the second opening; and at least a portion of the gate electrode 13 in the electron-emitting region EA from the electron-emitting portion. A projection 16 for converging the trajectory of the emitted electrons is provided. |
