titleOfInvention | Initial setting method of charging condition in electrophotographic apparatus using organic single layer photoreceptor |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] Initial setting of charging conditions when an initial photoreceptor is mounted on an apparatus by using an organic single-layer photoreceptor and using an electrophotographic apparatus to form an image using an organic single-layer photoreceptor in a very simple and automated manner. Is provided. SOLUTION: When forming an image by electrophotography using an organic single-layer photoreceptor, a dark potential (reference dark potential) when the photoreceptor surface is charged in advance with a constant reference charging potential for the initial photoreceptor And the light potential (reference light potential) are measured, this information is stored in the electrophotographic apparatus, the initial photoconductor is mounted on the electrophotographic apparatus, and the surface of the photoconductor is charged with the reference charging potential. Is charged to different charging potentials to measure a dark potential and a bright potential. Based on the measurement results and the information of the reference dark potential and the reference bright potential stored above, the equation: Vr = Α · Vo + β [Vo is dark potential, Vr is light potential (V), α and β are constants], and α and β are calculated. A charging condition is initially set so that a contrast potential (Vc) corresponding to a difference between a dark potential and a bright potential has an appropriate value based on a Vo-Vr straight line defined from the calculation result.
