PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a high molecular weight polyester elastomer which has little deterioration in physical properties and is excellent in heat resistance, hydrolysis resistance and weather resistance. SOLUTION: A diaryl dicarboxylate is added to a low molecular weight polyester elastomer obtained by reacting a cyclic monomer with a crystalline aromatic polyester, and the mixture is reacted by melting and stirring under reduced pressure. |
