titleOfInvention Water surface floating water purification catalyst, method for producing the same, and water purification method using the same
abstract (57) [Problem] To prevent a photocatalyst from being separated from a carrier due to separation or the like and maintain the water purification effect of the water purification catalyst for a long time. SOLUTION: The water purification catalyst is foamed in a lump with a porous material in which a photocatalytic material is dispersed, and floated on water. Then, after mixing the porous material and the photocatalyst in powder form, water glass is added and stirred to form a suspension, and this suspension is placed in a mold and heat-treated under reduced pressure to form a massive porous material. Then, the porous body was subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature higher than the above heat treatment to produce a fired body. Further, this water purification catalyst is used by being suspended in treated water.
