(57) [PROBLEMS] To provide a bone having excellent biocompatibility by forming a strong bioactive layer that can be used in a living body for a long period of time by a anodic oxidation method on a member having at least a surface made of titanium or a titanium alloy. Alternative materials and methods of making the same are provided. A substrate having at least a surface made of titanium or a titanium alloy is washed and dried, and then anodized in an acidic aqueous solution using the sample as an anode, or subjected to heat treatment after anodization, whereby the surface of the substrate is formed. An anodized layer having bioactivity can be formed, and a bone substitute material excellent in biocompatibility can be produced. |
