(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To reduce the amount of residual vinyl acetate monomer, contain little or no formaldehyde, reduce odor, excel in workability, and further improve properties such as good adhesion, durability and mechanical strength. To provide an admixture for cement mortar and a jointing material having the same. SOLUTION: A vinyl alcohol-based polymer having a degree of saponification of 70 mol% or more is used as a dispersant, and the amount of unreacted vinyl acetate monomer contained in the emulsion is 0.2% by weight or less and the formaldehyde concentration is 1 ppm or less. Admixture or jointing material for cement mortar consisting of vinyl acetate copolymer resin emulsion. |
