abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To make learners understand the composition of language sentences intuitively and surely. An English sentence is displayed with a three-dimensional tree display. In the three-dimensional tree display, the branches are represented by pillar-shaped bars, and the English sentence is arranged by grouping words in the English sentence for each syntax element. The main passage in English ("I have been eating The part corresponding to "apples") is described as a continuous rod, and the part corresponding to the dependent clause ("since I was a boy") is described as a bar that is intermittently broken. The viewpoint can be changed by performing a predetermined operation. By changing the viewpoint of the three-dimensional tree display in the direction of arrow P in the figure, the branch corresponding to the entire section “since I was a boy” corresponds to the entire predicate “have been eating”. The starting point branched from the branch is displayed on the front, which makes it easier to recognize the starting point of the branch.
