abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] Even after environmental stresses such as high temperature and high humidity are applied, there is no decrease in the adhesive performance with a reinforcing material such as a steel cord, and the hardness is enhanced to provide a high elastic modulus. Provided is a rubber composition for coating, which is to be used, and a pneumatic tire having improved durability and deterioration resistance by using the rubber composition for coating. SOLUTION: The coating rubber composition for coating a reinforcing material contains 0.1 to 5 parts by mass of a maleimide-based resin component with respect to 100 parts by mass of a rubber component, and comprises two tert-buts. The pneumatic tire is characterized by containing 0.5 to 8 parts by mass of a bisphenol compound having an yl group, and the pneumatic tire uses the rubber composition for coating as a reinforcing material such as a belt layer and a carcass layer. |
