titleOfInvention Chemical recycling method of aromatic polycarbonate
abstract (57) Abstract: A waste aromatic polycarbonate resin is subjected to a transesterification reaction with an aromatic monohydroxy compound, and is recovered as an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a diaryl carbonate. SOLUTION: The solubility parameter (δ s ) is 10.5 from the reaction mixture obtained in (A) the first step of transesterifying a waste aromatic polycarbonate resin with an aromatic monohydroxy compound and (B) the first step. The second step of crystallization with the following solvent to separate the aromatic dihydroxy compound-aromatic monohydroxy compound adduct, (C) distillation or solubility parameter (δ s ) from the mother liquor remaining in the second step A crystallization using a solvent having a pH of 13.0 or more to separate diaryl carbonate.
