titleOfInvention How to Propagate Kenaf
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To efficiently use dicotyledonous plants including kenaf, In addition, by inducing stable multiple shoots, a mass propagation method with high genetic stability is established. Kind Code: A1 A method for growing kenaf, comprising: (a) a medium containing cytokinins containing kenaf seedling hypocotyl pieces containing sites higher than the cotyledon nodes of the kenaf seedling, from which apical buds and cotyledons have been removed; (B-1) removing callus on the hypocotyl piece and leaves formed on the axillary bud-derived shoot, and (b-2) removing the callus from the axillary bud-derived shoot. Repeating the subculture step of placing the excised hypocotyl pieces on a culture medium containing cytokinins and culturing the same until multiple shoots are expressed.
