(57) [Problem] To provide an exhaust purification device for an in-cylinder injection spark ignition type multi-cylinder engine capable of promoting exhaust purification at low temperatures and realizing early activation of a catalyst while improving engine full-opening performance. I do. SOLUTION: In a cylinder injection type spark ignition type multi-cylinder engine, a dual type exhaust manifold system is adopted in which cylinders having ignition sequences that are not continuous are combined into a plurality of exhaust gas passages, and exhaust gas from some cylinder sets is adopted. And the exhaust gas from the remaining cylinder groups are separated by a plurality of exhaust gas passages and guided to the upstream of the exhaust gas purification catalyst.
