(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To reduce cement hexavalent chromium, characterized by having hexavalent chromium reducing ability and cement fluidity retention performance, and desulfurization slag as industrial waste in the steel industry Provide a method. SOLUTION: A hexavalent chromium-reducing material containing desulfurized slag which has no use and has been disposed of as industrial waste. The non-sulfurous sulfur in the desulfurized slag exists as relatively large particles, and upon contact with moisture, the non-sulfuric sulfur component is gradually released into the water to exert a hexavalent chromium removing effect over a long period of time. Further, depending on the slag material pulverizing conditions, it is possible to cope with both immediate effect and slow effect. This hexavalent chromium-reducing material has a remarkable effect even on soil in which hexavalent chromium is difficult to remove, such as the Kanto loam soil, and is therefore highly practical. |
