abstract | [57] [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To easily reduce weight and thickness, to withstand impacts, to have excellent flatness, adhesion to an ITO electrode, to be easily manufactured, to be low in cost, and to have excellent gas barrier properties. In addition, a high-performance plastic substrate for a display device and a method for efficiently manufacturing the substrate are provided. SOLUTION: Between films having a water vapor barrier property, A plastic substrate for a display device comprising a gas barrier layer in which at least one inorganic layered compound is dispersed in a polymer. Preferably, a film obtained by coating and forming a gas barrier layer in which an inorganic layered compound is dispersed in a polymer on a film having a water vapor barrier property, and a gas barrier layer in which the inorganic layered compound is dispersed in a polymer on a film having a water vapor barrier property. It is formed by pasting the coated film so that the gas barrier layers are in contact with each other. |
