abstract |
(57) An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an ink jet recording material having excellent gloss, ink absorbability and scratch resistance, and having a uniform coated surface. An ink jet recording in which a coating liquid for an ink receiving layer mainly containing at least one layer of inorganic fine particles and a coating liquid for a layer containing colloidal silica and a cationic compound are coated on a support in this order. In the material, the pH of the coating solution for the layer containing the colloidal silica is 3. An ink jet recording material having a viscosity of 3 to 6.0. |
