PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be used as a polymer electrolyte fuel cell membrane having excellent physical strength, low membrane resistance, and stably maintaining ionic conductivity over a long period of time. An ion exchange resin membrane capable of stably obtaining a very high battery output, and a method for efficiently producing such an ion exchange resin membrane. For example, a suspension containing an inorganic filler such as silica whose surface is hydrophobized, and a polymerizable monomer or the like that can be a hydrocarbon-based ion-exchange resin or a precursor thereof is converted into a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene. Removing the solvent after coating on a support such as a porous film made of, or introducing an ion exchange group after polymerizing the polymerizable monomer to form a hydrocarbon on the support surface. A layer containing a system ion exchange resin and the inorganic filler is formed to produce an ion exchange resin membrane. |
