titleOfInvention Biochip, biochip array, and screening method using them
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a biochip and a biochip array that can be immobilized accurately on a polymer and can be screened more easily than before. SOLUTION: The biochip of the present invention comprises a microcarrier containing a medium having a constant refractive index higher than the refractive index of a solution; A biochip comprising a hydrophobic portion formed on one surface of the microcarrier and a recognition substance immobilized on another surface of the microcarrier, and a medium side having a constant refractive index from a solution side. An evanescent field can be generated on the solution side when the electromagnetic wave incident on the solution is totally reflected.
