abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a heat-sensitive recording material excellent in color-forming sensitivity and storage stability of a color-formed image, that is, excellent in heat resistance and moisture resistance. SOLUTION: At room temperature, a colorless or pale-colored basic dye, In a heat-sensitive recording medium provided with a heat-sensitive coloring layer containing at least a color developing agent capable of forming a color upon contact with the dye by heating and a sensitizer, the sensitizer is represented by the following general formula (1). A heat-sensitive recording material containing at least one compound and at least one compound represented by the following general formula (2) as a color developer.
