(57) [Problem] To provide a battery capable of improving the chemical stability of an electrolyte and improving battery characteristics such as discharge capacity and charge / discharge cycle characteristics. SOLUTION: A strip-shaped positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 are provided with a wound electrode body 20 wound around a separator 23. Lithium metal is deposited on the negative electrode 22 during charging. It is represented by the sum of the capacity component due to separation and the capacity component due to precipitation and dissolution of lithium metal. The separator 23 is impregnated with an electrolyte in which a lithium salt is dissolved in a solvent. The electrolyte is added with vinyl ethylene carbonate, divinyl ethylene carbonate, or the like, so that the chemical stability is improved. |
