abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a toner manufacturing method, a toner, and an image forming method capable of suppressing bad smell generated during thermal fixing for a long period of time and obtaining a high quality image. SOLUTION: The method for producing a toner is obtained by subjecting a radical polymerizable monomer composition containing a radical polymerizable monomer, a colorant and a chain transfer agent to suspension polymerization in an aqueous medium. In the method for producing a toner having a washing step of washing a product, in the washing step, water containing a microorganism belonging to the genus Thiobacillus and a neutralizing agent that neutralizes a sulfur oxide generated by the microorganism is used. The image forming method is characterized by using the toner manufactured by the above method. |
