abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic pigment having a moisture absorption / humidity retention property and excellent in water-based dispersibility and a method for producing the same, and to provide a fresh skin feeling and a feeling of use excellent in moisture absorption / humidity retention effect. Provide cosmetics that can be obtained. SOLUTION: For a cosmetic composition, the fine crystalline cellulose is adhered or coated on the surface of a pigment by spray-drying a water slurry obtained by mixing fine crystalline cellulose and a pigment with a spray dryer. The pigment is obtained, and the cosmetic pigment thus obtained is blended with the cosmetic.
