abstract | (57) [Summary] (with correction) [PROBLEMS] To prevent a patient from injecting water into an inhalation means such as a cannula for inhaling medical gas when the medical gas humidifier falls down. The medical humidifier is provided in a gas supply system including a medical gas supply source and an inhalation unit for a patient to inhale the medical gas, and uses water as a humidification source. A medical gas humidifier having a shut-off means provided on a humidification medical gas outlet side of a vessel with a valve body moved by resistance of water. The shutoff means is provided with a valve ball 12 and a spring 13 in a plastic cylindrical member 11. When the water in the humidifying bottle instantaneously flows from the inflow port 14 when the medical gas humidifier is accidentally turned over during use, the valve ball 12 of the spring 13 receives the resistance of the water, and Contact to prevent water spouting. |
