abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good color tone (b value) and excellent antistatic property, and to reduce the amount of deposits on a spinneret even when continuously spun through a spinneret for a long time. An object of the present invention is to provide a polyester fiber which is very small and has excellent moldability and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A specific polyoxyalkylene polyether and a metal salt of an organic sulfonic acid are added using a catalyst for producing a polyester containing a specific titanium compound and a phosphorus compound at an arbitrary stage before the synthesis of the polyester is completed.
