abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a solvent composition for cleaning containing 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane as a main component and having excellent cleaning ability. SOLUTION: A propylene glycol solvent is mixed with 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane to such an extent that flammability does not occur. Further, at least one solvent selected from nitromethane, nitroethane, 3-methoxybutyl acetate, 3-methoxy-1-butanol and d-limonene is additionally mixed.
