(57) [Abstract] [Object] To provide a novel tripeptide having an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitory activity from a protease decomposition solution of seaweed. [Constitution] Two types of tripeptides having a novel angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitory activity obtained by treating seaweed with a protease and the like are (1) Tyr-Tyr-His and (2) It is Tyr-Tyr-Phe, has a blood pressure lowering effect in vivo, and has extremely low toxicity. |
