abstract (57) [Problem] To accurately measure a molecular concentration by irradiating a laser beam so that a parent ion of a molecule of a trace component is not broken. SOLUTION: A high-power ultrashort pulse laser 10 using a femtosecond titanium sapphire laser, a wavelength variable means 20 using an optical parametric oscillator using a nonlinear crystal, A time-of-flight mass spectrometer 30 for ionizing molecules by laser light irradiation and measuring molecular ion intensity; A laser beam having an arbitrary wavelength in a wavelength band free of electronic transition absorption, vibration transition absorption, and vibration transition overtone absorption of molecules and molecular ions is set by the wavelength variable means 20 and irradiated to the molecules, and the molecular ion intensity is measured by a mass spectrometer.
