abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a heating medium composition capable of effectively suppressing deterioration of a metal pipe and a synthetic resin pipe, and a method of supplying an antioxidant in a circulation device of the composition. SOLUTION: The heat carrier composition contains an antifreeze component and water or water as a main component, and also contains an anticorrosion additive and a surfactant. The anticorrosive additive is preferably a triazole compound, and the surfactant is preferably 0.001 to 0.1% by weight of an anionic surfactant. Further, it is preferable to include an antioxidant comprising a hindered phenol-based or hindered amine-based heat stabilizer. This antioxidant connects the heat exchanger 13 and the radiator 14 to the circulation pipe 1.
