abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a propylene-ethylene block copolymer excellent in balance of physical properties such as rigidity and impact resistance, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Propylene is polymerized using a catalyst consisting of the following components [A] and [B] or the following components [A], [B] and [C] to form a polypropylene component. By polymerizing propylene with an ethylene / propylene copolymer component, a flexural modulus of 800 A propylene-ethylene block copolymer having a MPa (Gauge) or more and an ordinary temperature Izod impact strength of 7 kJ / m 2 or more is obtained.
