abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a side wall which suppresses brown discoloration, has a sufficient resistance to ozone, and has improved low heat build-up, and the rubber composition is used for a side wall. Provide pneumatic tires. SOLUTION: The nitrogen adsorption specific surface area is 70 to 300 m 2 with respect to 100 parts by weight of a rubber component comprising 20 to 70% by weight of natural rubber and 30 to 80% by weight of diene-based synthetic rubber. / G of carbon black and 5 to 100 parts by weight of calcium carbonate are used for sidewalls of pneumatic tires.
