abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display element having good contrast and high thermal response speed, and to provide a thermosensitive fine particle composition which is easy to handle and easy to manufacture. And SOLUTION: The temperature-sensitive fine particle composition in which a non-crosslinked polymer material and a liquid which have a lower critical eutectic temperature and change between transparent and opaque at the temperature is encapsulated in microcapsules. A colorant may be mixed, or microcapsules each containing an uncrosslinked polymer having a different lower critical eutectic temperature may be mixed.
