abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide a bathing device that enables an elderly person or the like to easily enter and leave a bathtub without bending a knee. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a bathing apparatus provided with a washing place and a bathtub. A part of the side wall 4 forming the bathtub 1 is provided so as to be able to move up and down, and a part adjacent to a part of the side wall 4 in the washing place 2 is provided so as to be able to move up and down and moves up and down. The elevating wall 14 is lowered, and the elevating floor 12 in the washing place 2 is raised, so that the upper surface of the elevating wall 14 and the upper surface of the elevating floor 12 are substantially at the same level.
