titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for culturing polychlorinated biphenyl-degrading high-temperature microorganisms and method for degrading polychlorinated biphenyl
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the processing speed and reduce the cost by omitting an expensive system for preventing the contamination of various germs, a method for culturing a polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) -degrading high-temperature microorganism, a culturing apparatus and a PCB decomposing method. Offer. SOLUTION: The method for culturing a PCB-degrading high-temperature microorganism, comprising culturing while supplying gas-phase biphenyl or a similar substance to a liquid medium containing the PCB-degrading high-temperature microorganism. A supply device 22 for supplying a heating gas containing a gas phase of biphenyl or the like, and a culture tank 23 for containing the culture solution 33 and bringing the heating gas supplied from the supply device into contact with the culture solution. PCB characterized by including Culture device 21 for degradable high-temperature microorganisms. A method for degrading polychlorinated biphenyl, wherein a PCB-degrading high-temperature microorganism is cultured in a PCB-containing medium using the culture device.
