titleOfInvention | Charging device and image forming device |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a charging device and an image forming apparatus which generate a small amount of ozone, stabilize the charging potential even in a use environment, and can extend the life of a photoreceptor. SOLUTION: A contact charging member 506 which is charged by contacting with a photoreceptor 407, and a non-contact charging member 508 which is charged without contacting the photoreceptor, are provided with a power supply portion 506a and a charge transfer portion 506b. And the charge transfer portion 506b is mainly made of a material in which a conductive agent is dispersed in a continuous phase of an elastic body. Charge control means 510 for controlling charge potential and discharge electrode 50 9 is provided. |
