titleOfInvention | Color filter for transflective liquid crystal display device, method for producing the same, and radiation-curable coloring composition |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To maintain substantially the same level of luminance and color purity of a screen when using a backlight and when using it as a reflective type, and to arbitrarily adjust the color purity and the like between both uses. Provided are a color filter for a transflective color liquid crystal display device which can be adjusted and can achieve high color purity especially when a backlight is used, a method for producing the same, and a radiation-curable coloring composition suitable for them. SOLUTION: The color filter for a transflective liquid crystal display device has at least two regions having different film thicknesses within an effective pixel unit. The method for manufacturing a color filter includes a partial region of a coating film of a radiation-curable coloring composition formed on a substrate, and at least a partial region of another portion of the coating film, in each of the regions. The method includes a step of performing exposure while changing the effective exposure amount, wherein a step including exposure and development is performed in one cycle. The radiation curable coloring composition is characterized in that the film thickness can be adjusted by changing the effective exposure amount. |
