titleOfInvention | Polyvinyl alcohol-based resin composition |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To be manufactured by an industrially advantageous method, The raw material PVA is used because no alkali is used. No hydrolysis of the residual acetic acid ester group occurs, no odor derived from the lower amine compound is generated, the reactivity with anionic substances is high, and it is useful as an internal paper strength enhancer and a coating agent for inkjet. Provided is a PVA-based resin composition. SOLUTION: It comprises (A) a PVA-based resin, (B) a polyvalent metal salt, and (C) a quaternary ammonium salt having a glycidyl group. The polyvalent metal salt is desirably aluminum sulfate, and the PVA-based resin is desirably a partially saponified PVA having a saponification degree of 85 to 90 mol% or a saponified product of a diacetone acrylamide-fatty acid vinyl ester copolymer. |
