titleOfInvention | Coated optical fiber and optical fiber core using the same |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated optical fiber and an optical fiber cable which can surely protect and reinforce an optical fiber and have excellent yellowing resistance. SOLUTION: A coated optical fiber 21 is provided with a soft primary layer 12 on the surface of an optical fiber 11 and then a primary layer. A hard secondary layer 13 is provided outside of 12, and the primary layer 12 and the secondary layer 13 contain the same compound selected from compounds having a specific structure. Further, the optical fiber core 31 is formed by further providing a colored layer 14 on the coated optical fiber 21. |
