(57) [Problem] To provide a method for giving a proper charging ability to a toner, when mixing a charge controlling agent particle and a resin particle containing a colorant produced in an aqueous medium, the above problem is solved. It is an object of the present invention to provide an efficient manufacturing method with less variation in chargeability between toner particles and no deformation or excessive pulverization of the particles. SOLUTION: A toner composition comprising at least a polymer compound and a colorant is dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent, and the dissolved or dispersed material is dispersed in an aqueous medium to perform a polyaddition reaction. An electrophotographic toner obtained by mixing a charge control agent particle and / or an external additive particle with a colorant-containing resin particle obtained by removing a solvent of a liquid. |
