abstract | (57) [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for preparing a coating liquid that does not cause an increase in viscosity even when a water-soluble polymer is mixed with a fine dispersion of inorganic fine particles and a cationic resin, and has a good surface condition and ink absorption. To provide an ink jet recording paper having excellent properties. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording sheet provided with a color material receiving layer on a support, the color material receiving layer is made of a ceramic filled with ceramic beads after mixing inorganic fine particles and a cationic resin in water. An ink jet recording paper comprising: a coating liquid obtained by adding a water-soluble polymer to a liquid finely dispersed with a sand grinder until the average particle size becomes 30 to 200 nm. |
