titleOfInvention Sludge odor prevention method
abstract (57) [Abstract] [Problem] It is possible to effectively prevent odors originating from hydrogen sulfide and the like generated from sludge in sewage treatment plants, etc. Provided is a method for preventing sludge odor generation that can be applied to a small-scale facility that performs only a dehydration operation. A method for preventing the generation of odor of sludge in a sludge storage tank by allowing nitrite to be present in the sludge storage tank, wherein nitrite is mixed with sludge outside the sludge storage tank and then introduced into the sludge storage tank. The sludge is continuously withdrawn from the sludge storage tank day and night and dewatered, and the stirring time per day is 以下 or less of the average residence time of the sludge in the sludge storage tank, and one stirring time is 1 hour. A method for preventing the generation of odor of sludge that performs agitation within, and extracting sludge from the sludge storage tank only during the day and dewatering, stopping the agitation for 2 hours or more during the dehydration operation, and one agitation duration within 1 hour A method for preventing the generation of odor of sludge that performs agitation.
