An electrode for a capacitor according to the present invention includes, in addition to an electric double layer capacitor material, a composite material containing a pseudo-capacitive organic capacitor material that covers or adheres to the capacitor material. . In other words, the capacity of the capacitor can be improved by coating or attaching a pseudo-capacitive organic capacitor material that exhibits a capacity by a redox-type reaction to a part of the surface of the electric double layer capacitor material in the electrode. As a result, the low-temperature output characteristics can be improved.
