(57) [Summary] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digestion solution treatment after methane fermentation, which incorporates a treatment device which does not require the addition of an organic carbon source such as methanol, such as conventional biological denitrification, and which is incorporated by methane fermentation. An apparatus for treating toxic waste is provided. SOLUTION: A pretreatment device 2 for removing contaminants, suspended matter or a mixture thereof in organic waste, and a pretreatment device 2 provided at a subsequent stage, wherein the contaminant, suspended matter or a mixture thereof are contained. A methane fermentation device 3 for methane fermentation of the removed organic waste, and a physicochemical wastewater treatment device 4 which is located at a subsequent stage of the methane fermentation device 3 and physicochemically treats the organic waste after methane fermentation. An advanced treatment device 6 for treating the supernatant of the organic waste subjected to the physicochemical treatment at a later stage of the physicochemical wastewater treatment device 4, and a later stage of the physicochemical wastewater treatment device 6. A solid-liquid separation device 5 for solid-liquid separation of sludge components obtained from the organic waste subjected to the physicochemical treatment. |
