PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for gene transfer which can be used for medical use by enabling gene replacement or suppression of expression of a gene product in a target cell. SOLUTION: The composition for gene introduction, which comprises the following two components which do not electrically bond to each other under physiological conditions: (1) an amphiphilic compound such as a negatively charged fusogenic peptide; A composition comprising a fusogenic compound and (2) a nucleic acid or a complex containing the nucleic acid. |
