abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [PROBLEMS] A multimedia optical disk having a data structure for efficiently using an optical disk by sharing data among a plurality of titles and realizing a new function of multi-angle reproduction. And a bitstream interleaving method and apparatus that enables seamless playback. A video object of an optical disk (M) on which a plurality of video objects (VOB) including compressed video data are recorded is stored in an interleaved area (block 4). And 6) and a continuous area (blocks 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7) are arranged in the order of reproduction, and a management area (NV) in which interleaved recording is provided together with video data is provided. Information for specifying end position information on the continuously readable disk and position information on the next reproducible disk are recorded.
