abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false-twisted composite yarn for self-sensing a change in humidity and obtaining a fabric capable of self-adjusting air permeability while maintaining dimensions of the fabric, and a method for producing the same. Furthermore, a breathable self-adjusting fabric using the composite false twist yarn. SOLUTION: In a composite false twisted yarn in which a low elongation side filament yarn is located in a core portion and a high elongation side filament yarn is sheathed and wound around the core yarn, the high elongation side filament yarn is a sulfonate. A composite false twist yarn comprising a composite fiber in which a modified polyethylene terephthalate containing a group and nylon are bonded in a side-by-side manner, and satisfying the following expressions (1) and (2) simultaneously. (1) 70 ≧ (D A / (D A + D B)) × 100 ≧ 30 (2) 280 (%) ≧ S A -S B ≧ 50 (%) where, D A The total fineness of the high elongation side filament yarn (dtex), D B Is the total fineness (dtex) of the low elongation side filament yarn, S A The elongation (%) of the high elongation side filament yarn, S B is the elongation of the low stretch side filament yarn (%). |
