abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving chromaticity while maintaining physiological activity by using radiation in a natural product extract. SOLUTION: The chromaticity improving method of the present invention comprises 1) a step of extracting a natural product with a solvent to obtain an extract, and 2) a step of irradiating the extract with an appropriate amount of radiation. According to the method for improving chromaticity of the present invention, the physiological activity is maintained as it is, the residual pesticides of natural products, impurities such as microorganisms are removed, and the chromaticity is improved. The extract can be widely used in food, medicine and cosmetics.
