titleOfInvention | Thermosetting powder coating composition |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To develop a thermosetting powder coating composition excellent in storage stability and finished appearance. SOLUTION: A thermosetting powder coating composition and an automobile comprising an epoxy group-containing resin (A), an acid anhydride curing agent (B) and a porous alumina silica (C) as essential components. A thermosetting aqueous colored base coat is applied to the surface of the object to be coated, and then the above-mentioned thermosetting powder coating composition is adjusted to a clear substantially free of a colorant on the surface of the uncured aqueous base coat. An automotive vehicle characterized by electrostatically applying the heat-curable clear powder coating composition thus formed, and then simultaneously heat-curing both of the formed thermosetting aqueous base coat and the thermosetting clear powder coating composition. Coating film forming method. |
